Canteen
Duty
| The
canteen is the most important source of fund raising for
the club to pay for the replacement or repair of equipment and for
the
purchase
of other items such as
shade houses. We purposely do not conduct raffles or impose selling chocolates or other fund raising activities to prevent any further financial burden or place time requirements on families. We ask that if you are not assisting with an age group on the track that you spend some time in the canteen, this will go towards your Parent Duty requirements. Our Canteen Manager Kylie will explain what is required and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. If you can cook a sausage or make a coffee, you’re more than qualified. If insufficient volunteers attend the Canteen and BBQ , events for that age group will be cancelled until the required number of volunteers are available. |
