I used my arms better in the 100 metre under 12 boys on Wednesday night. Not a PB but a new Casey record of 13.64. My first and my years goal achieved. Track was good but the wind was strong from the side.
Very Happy with that.

I am happy to be back at Casey but still nervous each week. We have a good group in the under 12 Boys. We all talk to each other and try hard.
I ran a PB of 9.97 in the 70 metres but still close to the record of 9.78. I hope to use my arms better as I have a funny style.
I hope the rain does not come.

Michael

A special thank you to St John's Ambulance staff who looked after Michael at both Casey and at the Victorian Championships. In both places they were helpful and friendly and their caring attitude was nice to encounter. Well done.

A good day today as I almost broke a CASEY record not just a PB. I tried really hard and ran the Under 11 boys 200 metres in 30.00 just .14 outside the 29.86 record set 7 years ago. Just one more chance next week.

Little Athletics as a sport, is a great mixture of officials [volunteers] parents, friends and the children and young adults who participate. Whilst I like to see Michael in action, I equally enjoy the whole scene and the different age groups. As always the officials did a fantastic job at Moe in very trying weather conditions.

We just wanted to express our huge appreciation to the Casey Committee for their amazing professionalism in running such a fantastic athletics programme. We attended the Junior Carnival and the Regionals on the weekend and it certainly showed us how brilliant you all are. Not only do you run a very organised and professional outfit, the coaching and skills imparted onto all our little athletes is incredible. Our U6's girls were a true testament of that, knowing exactly what to do at each of their events be it shot put, long jump or discus. All the Casey Athletes performed exceptionally well and we were very proud to be a part of the experience. Thank you!

Hi Nivi?
I think its 1st place and then it goes by time (or distance etc). So if you come 2nd your time is compared to athletes from other regions in the state. Cant remember how many go through.

My Dad took me to the Knox Open Carnival for the experience. I was very nervous and tired as I worried too much.
I won the 70 Metre in 10-51 but the wind was in my face. I ran a close third in the 100 Metre and in the night I won the 200 Metre also into the wind but a PB of 30-59. Matisse Lazzari was winning a lot when we left about 9pm. I also saw James run second in a Hurdle race.
This was a big event and the boy who won the 100 was from Shepparton.
My Gold Medal in the 70 Metre was given to me by the Australian Champion.
